The Wonderful Joy Of Rain!!!

This past Friday night and Saturday morning we had RAIN!!! There was thunder, lightning, wind, and we LOVE rain:) Our temperatures went from 105 to 80:) We were so happy to be outside and open all of our windows. Of course it was super humid, but it was something different.....so we welcome change. My kids spent most of the day outside while David and I tried to clean up our office that had gotten out of control:(

Emma pulled out her roller blades. She is doing pretty good,
but I still like her to use her pads:) She just needs a soft one for her bum.

When the weather is nice we LOVE being outside.

Sadie decided to try and make a little money. All of a sudden I turn around and she has pulled out the kids rocking chair, a table, all of her drawings, and a bell. Her sign hanging from the table says "1 dollar or FREE." She sat there ringing her bell to try and get some business. Unfortunately we don't have a very busy street and therefore didn't get any customers, but she was happy and it kept her busy. She is still wearing her swimming suit from jumping on the trampoline in the rain that morning:)

She wasn't having much success just sitting, so she put her sign and drawings on her bike and rode up and down the street. Whatever floats your boat:)

Later that afternoon my two older girls, Alison and Emma, and two of their friends put bottles of Gatorade in a wagon with ice and walked to the neighbors that we knew asking, "Would you like to buy a Gatorade for a dollar." They sold 4, giving each of them a dollar. I then walked them to the ice cream shop around the corner where they all bought their own ice cream. Memories.....
