Emma is 8!

On Sunday, January 27th Emma turned 8 years old. She picked her favorite dinner, burritos, and picked flavor of cake and ice cream. We told the kids that we were going to have "family birthday's" this year. Maybe next year we can have a friend one. Emma was a little sad to not have any friends, so at the last minute we called our good friends the Johnson's to come eat some sweets with us.

Emma choose a chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip frosting. She was very perticular about having a double layer cake. She also chose mint chocolate chip ice cream to eat with it.

She was very happy with her new stash of art supplies, a book about dinosaurs and CASH. A whole $15. She is very good about holding onto her money until she finds what she really wants. Right now she wants roller blades and Littlest Pet Shop animals. I really don't think she will be able to get all of that, so we'll have to be creative. Emma will be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Feburary 23rd at 12 p.m. here in Gilbert, AZ. We are all very excited!
